Lindsay lost the President of the United States election.
Background
Lindsay, 28, of Los Angeles, was not allowed to run for president in California because she does not meet the constitutional age requirement of 35 for that office. But other states, including New York, are allowing her to run. Lindsay is a 2008 graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C., and an anti-war activist since middle school. She is working on a master's degree in education at the University of Southern California. She is a founder of the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL). Lindsay is single.
Issues
She says the capitalist electoral is rigged to ensure the domination of Wall Street bankers, corporations and big-business owners over working-class Americans. Lindsay says that unlike presidential candidates from the major parties, she is not beholden to any corporate backers. She calls for a constitutional right to a job, free health care, education and affordable housing. Lindsay's vice presidential running mate is Yari Osorio.
